Aidan Loves His New Home

No, that's not a funny looking pacifier, it's a rubber ducky!

Checkin' himself out.

And here's the money shot.

Yeah, I stand up now. No big deal.

Here's our goofy little boy after his bath.

It's Official, We're Northern Californians!

What a story we have about the ups and many downs of moving into this new house. Thankully we are all moved in now and praising God for how he oraganized this whole summer to work so we could live in this beautiful house. We are in awe of how God works everyday. There are still many boxes to unpack and decorating to do, but all in all we are adjusting well.

Aidan slept through the night 2 days ago (something he stopped doing when we moved out of our old house 2 months ago). And he is starting to learn new tricks. Not only can he sit up by himself now, he also pulled himself up to a standing position without help. He loves drinking out of his straw cup, and crawls all over the house. Usually to inspect something he is not supposed to be inspecting (usually cords and wires).

Here are some pics of the house at 2735 Village Drive, Ione CA 95640. Our phone is (209)274-6542.

The house was uninhabited by humans for 1 year before wemoved in. This is a dead specimen of what was living in the house prior to the bug bombing we did. I saw this thing alive, it was HUGE! Oh the fun we will have living in the country.

Ione or Bust

Well, Trevor started school TODAY! So we are hear, in Ione (with a capital "i") living at Nathan and Kristi's house. We are still homeless and it looks like we will be this way at least until the end of this week. We all came up to celebrate Eliot and Chloe's dedication on Sunday, and Mom and Dad left this morning. I can't imagine how difficult it was saying goodbye to all the kids and grandkids and driving back to HB. We will be seeing them in a couple of weeks though.

We do have a new address and we can get mail there, but we can't live there yet, so please pray for that. Our address is:
2735 Village Drive
Ione, CA 95640

We love you and miss you all, but are excited for our new Northern California Adventure!

Mr. Doyle in his new room. It is located in the basement beneath the gym! But has a lot of character, and the kids will love learning Pre Algebra in "Doyle's Dungeon."

A couple of cute kids!

On Saturday we all worked on getting "The dungeon" cleaned up. We had a lot of fun decorating.

The dedication. That is Pastor Mark of Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene. He is a nice guy, and we are excited to be a part of this new family.

Grandma Lois and Some New Skills

On Wednesday, Grandma Lois came to stay with us for a week. She bonded right away with Aidan while reading him a book on the floor. He loves this. You can flip through the pages and tell the story forward and backward about 7 times before losing interest. Aidan has also made more progress in the crawling department. More often now is he getting his arms underneath him. It is so fun to watch. He will lift himself up on hands and knees and then lean forward and do a face plant into the carpet. He keeps us laughing all the time.

Aidan also is enjoying his food. I feed him baby food 3 times a day now. And he eats like a chow hound. Except in the mornings. Like Daddy he just doesn't like to eat much in the morning. He especially likes carrots, and a blueberry/apple mixture. He's got a sweet tooth also like his Daddy. Mommy does get meat and veggies in him too and he does not resist. He seems to like everything.

Reading on the floor with Great Grandma Lois

He loves it when the pages turn.

That is one cute booty!

This little maraca he likes to shake with his wrist. He makes his wrist go up and down and he looks at the shaker. He loves the sound. I think we have a little percussionist on our hands. We have to watch him though cuz he also likes to stick the end of it all the way down to the back of his mouth!

Doing to "Army low crawl" to his toy basket.

Mama's Birthday

On the 31st I, Amy, celebrated my 28th birthday. I really wanted to go to the fair so Mary, Aidan, Mom, Dad and Grandma Flink loaded into the car and headed to the fairgrounds. We met Aunt Joy there. We had a lot of fun. We ate Australian Battered Potatoes (Yummo!), and tried a Deep Fried Snickers Bar. We vistied the animals and checked out all the exhibits. Aidan loved all the people and lights. He hardly fussed at all, and didn't sleep a wink. Of course. He are some of the highlights.

Aidan had so much fun in this hammock with Mary!

Chillin' and lookin' at the goats. He loves the animals.

We borrowed a wheelchair from the Plaza so Gma didn't have to walk everywhere. It was great. I was so glad she came!

Hello there.
