Still on the Throne
So I have been contemplating and talking about this whole economy thing, just like many of you have, and I have come to a conclusion. God is still and always will be on the throne, and no matter what, He deserves our thanksgiving and our worship. So this day, instead of watching the news and worrying like so many without hope, take out a notebook and go to town. Thank God for everything from air to breath, to the coffee bean (that one I thank God for daily!) And then when you are having trouble finding things to be thankful for you can pull out your notebook and remind yourself that God is good, all the time, and all the time, God is GOOD!

I love that notebook idea. It is such a great way to remember what is important....who is important....also to make a reminder list of how many things for which we are grateful!

You know, not having tv/cable has been part blessing this fall. Everyone mentions being worried, but I don't really know much and it's nice...turn the tv off more often (or just watch Wonder Pets).
